This is a small flap I machined for a robotics mechanism I designed. I modeled the flap in SolidWorks, turned it on a lathe, milled it on a vertical mill at Cal Poly Pomona, and had it anodized by a company in Arcadia, CA. This is a personal project completed on my own time.

Current Status:

I am a Principal Mechanical Engineer in Southern California working in aerospace and defense. I have 6 years of professional industry experience and am pursuing a masters degree at Columbia University with an expected graduation of Spring of 2026. My current projects are a 3D printed Japanese book binding jig and a miniature RP2040 implementation with an integrated display and battery. I am a published author, having presented a paper on my laser cutter design at the 2018 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition, and a designated subject matter expert at Raytheon Technologies in the use of Laser Trackers.
